We completed MMT1 (Augusta KY) on Sunday June 21st
MMT2 will be Clifton Gorge / Yellow Springs on Sunday June 28th.
Many of you know that Cheryl and I are organizing ZFEST (www.zfest.com) for those of us driving BMW Z's. One of the things that we will be offering at ZFest will be optional drives to folks who would like to tour the areas around Cincinnati. Scott Osswald of Daytrip Cincinnati is creating a series of tours originating at the King's Island Resort and Conference Center (The ZFest Host Hotel) to places like, Kentucky Horse Country, Yellow Springs, Portsmouth Ohio, Madison Indiana. Wright Patterson Air Museum, Metamora etc.
The Roving Roadsters will be testing these drives and tours on summer weekends in 2009 to check them out and provide feedback to Scott Osswald, Cheryl and me so that we know that the drives will be well laid out for visitors from all over teh country.
We plan several of these Day Trips for the Roving Roadsters soon to become the "Flying Pig Motoring Society".
If you plan to attend one of these, please let us know. We may or may not announce where we will be going ahead of time.
The first MMT (Magical Mystery Tour) will be Sunday Jun 21, Gathering at KIRCC at 8:30 AM with a 9:00 AM Departure.
You can expect the full tour to be an all day type drive ending late afternoon. Of course you can peel off at anytime if you find us boring and not fit to be with. We will plan potty stops and lunch in each of these MMT's.
