Carol Storch and her husband Bill Eilander are opening their home and deck (porch) for the first annual Storch Scavenger Hunt and Porch Event. It will be a cookout and Carol and Bill are providing the meat and we're providing the stuff that one eats with meat such as macaroni, salads, potato chips and potato salad, perhaps some special thing that you make (or buy) and of course desserts.

Those of you who drink alcoholic beverages should bring them along!

Here are the food rules:

  • You drive a Z3 - You bring a dessert
  • You drive a Z4 - You bring stuff for the main meal
  • You drive a Porsche - You bring a surprise
  • You drive a Miata - You bring Dessert
  • You drive something else - Bring a surprise
SCHEDULE:
  • 1:00 PM Meet at the Carol and Bill's and drop off your dish (The dish of food, not your girlfriend)
  • 2:00 PM or earlier. Grab your scavenger hunt kit and get lost for a couple of hours. We will provide you with a route to drive and a list of items to gather or take photographs of. << Click for Route Info >>

  • 4:30 PM or earlier. Return to Carol and Bill's with the stuff you've gathered on the hunt!
  • 5:00 PM The judging begins.
  • 6:00 PM Food and drinky poos.

The scavengers will need to bring a digital camera with them, a cell phone camera will be fine as we will be asking people to take photos of themselves or their driver or navigator at some location doing something. A photo could be "Get a photo of one of you on a train" or perhaps "A photo of one of you eating a carrot". I really don't know yet what the items or photos will be but rest assured you will have fun!
